Hi, I’m Samantha

(or Sam)!

I’m a Midwest transplant (originally from Indiana) turned Southwest explorer, living in Phoenix, Arizona with my high school sweetheart. Though I’m a wild adventurer at heart, I’m also an introvert who finds joy in the little moments—laughing a lot, chasing golden hour, hanging out in my backyard, reading on my Kindle (a big Libby/library advocate), & going to the movies.

Listen, I know that wherever you’re at in your planning process of either having an elopement, deciding if you should have an elopement, intimate wedding, engagement, or just wanting some cute photos of you & your partner–you may be a bit overwhelmed. There are A LOT of photographers out there & I know the process of reaching out to someone can be intimidating. I want you to know though that I’m here for you–I take my job as a photographer incredibly seriously. I want you two to feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I’m here to capture your memories, as well as guide you through the whole process of all the lead up beforehand. You do not have to know what to do.

Now to make this easier for you–read below to learn more about me. My journey into becoming a photographer, why I do what I do, & things I enjoy outside of photography. Welcome to my little corner of the internet, I’m so happy you’re here.

More Than Just a Photographer—Your Guide Through All the Planning

My passion for storytelling through images started with my mom—she was always capturing both the big & small moments in our lives. Looking back, I realize how important those photos are because, let’s be real, it’s easy to forget the exact details of a day. That’s why I do what I do—to document the raw, fleeting moments so you can relive them forever.

If you’re anything like me, you want to remember it all—the way the wind felt on your skin, the golden light setting in the sky, the quiet, in-between moments when it’s just the two of you. That’s where I come in. I’ll be there to capture every laugh, every touch, every stolen glance—so you don’t have to worry about a thing.

Again, I take this job incredibly seriously & it is truly my passion. Although I’ve known for over a decade that I would be a photographer–the past 4-5 years have been when I’ve found my true calling of being an elopement photographer (as well as engagements & couples). I genuinely believe eloping is the BEST way to get married & I love being a part of the whole process with my couples.

Guiding you with where to have your ceremony, helping you choose other vendors, creating a timeline that lets you soak in every moment, giving you fun activity ideas, guiding you with how to tell your loved ones what your plans are, & so much more–I’m here for it all (especially the whole photographing it thing).

I’m your guide, your cheerleader, & the person who makes sure you have an unforgettable experience. Whether it’s navigating trails before sunrise, packing extra snacks, or capturing those candid, tear-filled moments, I’ve got you covered.

“Samantha is more than just your photographer, she acts as your wedding planner, coordinator, officiant, and friend. [She] has a calm presence that makes working with her so easy, even if you’re awkward in front of the camera. The photos speak for themselves, she’s extremely talented! If you have any interest in eloping, I highly recommend working with Samantha!”

–Sydney & Joey, eloped in Sedona in 2024
